What this is, in plain words
Yes — these are real folders on your computer: the vault folders Chevy watches. This page tidies them by your own rules. A note counts as loose when it sits directly at a vault folder's top level, not inside any subfolder — loose notes pile up, and Organize files them away for you. Anything already inside a subfolder is yours and never gets touched.
A rule is one line — "notes that match THIS go to THAT folder": for example prop:type=client → Clients files every loose note tagged type: client into a Clients folder, and name:2026-* → Journal/Daily files notes whose names start with a date. Rules save to a _mover.md file in the vault itself. Hit Preview organize to see exactly what would move — nothing moves until you click Organize now. The markdown mirrors of Word documents never move, and a name that would collide gets a -2 suffix instead of overwriting anything.
