Workspace folder

Sent with every chat - the agent is told this is your current working folder. (Awareness only; no sandboxing yet.)

Default Drive Mode

The gear new chats start in. The header picker still overrides per chat - both write the same default.

Chevy voice

On prepends Chevy's style pack so every tier sounds like Chevy; off is the raw model voice.

Default agent

Which assistant new chats go to by default. The header select switches anytime.

Conversation indexing

Off by default: Chevy doesn't read or store your #chevy conversations for search until you turn this on. Powers Prop Recall in the Prop Vault — the same toggle lives there and both write the same key.

Your Prop Vault

Your Prop Vault is the set of folders Chevy watches - your notes, documents, boards, tasks, and past-client events all live there as plain files you can open in any app. Nothing is locked into Chevy; the vault is just folders on this PC.

Already have an Obsidian vault? It works great as your Prop Vault - ask Chevy in chat to watch it and everything in it shows up here, import complete. Using Obsidian is never required.

Local model — free & private

Run a Qwen model on this PC via Ollama: $0 per message, nothing leaves the machine. Quality is below the cloud gears — it's the privacy-first option, not the smartest one. Chevy checks your hardware and tells you exactly which size makes sense.

Team

The people you can assign board cards to. Each one is a real Team\<name>.md file in your vault — readable and editable by hand like everything else. Plainly: members don't log into Chevy — they get emails, Google Calendar invites, and Discord pings. Real logins / a client portal are the enterprise tier on the roadmap, not this.
